It wasn’t until I had to be without one for a few days that I realized how indispensable a computer – specifically, a Macbook Pro – is to denizens of the quaternary economic sector. Not only was I unable to dork out on news and interesting Interwebbish bric-a-brac, but my freelance work got backed up like a Reuben sandwich in an aging gumshoe. With the advent of my seismic career shift, I wasn’t about to wait any longer for one of these.
